SASSA Releases Date For September 2023 Grant Payment
SASSA is responsible for distributing grants and benefits to disadvantaged people in need of financial assistance in South Africa.
Beneficiaries can collect their SASSA payments from selected supermarkets such as Pick n Pay, Boxer, USAve merchants, Checkers and Shoprite and send them to their SASSA card via Cash Send or by transferring the amount directly to their bank account.

If your application has been approved for the Elderly Grant, Disability Grant or Child Grant, you may be wondering when you will receive your grant from September 2023. Below is a list of SASSA payment dates for these three grants (and others).
The management of SASSA has published a payment schedule for the month of September 2023.
According to the schedule:
1) OLDER PERSON’S GRANTS will be paid from Tuesday, 05 September 2023.
2) DISABILITY GRANTS will be paid from Wednesday, 06 September 2023.
3) Children grants will be paid from Thursday, 07 September 2023
According to SASSA, there is no need to rush to withdraw money on the first day. Once the money is in the account, it stays there until you need it.
