ANNUAL BASIC SALARY: R204 864,00 per annum (post level 10) plus normal company benefits & a 25% non-pensionable allowance.

JUNIOR FIRE FIGHTER (Section: Fire and Rescue)

Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 0 -1 year experience
- Fire Fighter I and II
- Hazmat Awareness and Hazmat Operational
- First Aid Level 3
- Physically and Mentally fit
- Valid Code C1 Driver’s License, C and EC will be an added advantage
*Shortlisted applicants will be subjected to a physical ability assessment.
The successful applicant / candidate must possess competencies as published in Annexure A of the Government Gazette 45181 of 20 September 2021.
Key Performance Areas:
- Respond to all emergency calls which include fire, motor vehicles accidents and hazardous incidents.
- Respond to all incident where rescue work must be performed
- Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and equipment’s
- Perform routine maintenance of the fire station and firefighting equipment
