Check SASSA Grant Dates For June 2023. The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) distributes more than 18 million permanent social grants every month. Normally during the first week of every month permanent Sassa grants receive their money.

Grant Date means the date on which the Beneficiary can receive the money at the Post Office or designated payment points. Recipients can also collect money at several retail stores, including Shoprite, Checkers, Pick N Pay, Boxer and Usave.
Based on latest announcement from Sassa payment dates for June will be as follows:
- Older Persons Grant – 2 June
- Disability Grant – 5 June
- Children’s Grant – 6 June
In June 2023, SASSA grants will be paid on June 2nd. Beneficiaries are advised to keep their bank details up to date to avoid delays in the payment process. Grants will always be available and do not need to be collected by the due date.
If SASSA Beneficiaries have not yet received their grants, they should call Postbank’s toll-free number (0800 535 455). When you call, make sure you have your ID number handy.
